چکیده
Abstract Phyllanthus niruri L. drying kinetics were empirically examined at the temperature of 40 °C, 45 50 55 and 60 °C in an air-drying oven. The herbs’ aerial components (stems, leaves, flowers) picked after 9-10 weeks planting. procedure ended when sample weights remained unchanged. time varied from 7 to 20.5 hours. CurveExpert Professional was utilized establish optimal modeling fit. According statistical analysis, notably for root mean square error ( RMSE ), determination coefficient R 2 residual chi-square χ Midilli-Kucuk has deemed function characterizing P. drying. effective diffusivity activation energy reported be 4.050x10 -9 m /s – 1.620x10 -8 55.23 kJ/mol, respectively. UV-VIS spectrophotometry also employed analyze effects on flavonoid content. measurement showed that content all dried herbs 1.18-1.69 %, which already meets Farmakope Herbal Indonesia’s standard. highest found lowest temperature.

متن کاملFuzzy logic application to drying kinetics modelling
A Fick’s model that includes a Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model to estimate the effective diffusivity was analyzed. The modelling of drying kinetics on mango trough this diffusional-fuzzy model was compared with the theoretical Fick’s model and the empirical Peleg and Weibull models. The identification and validation was performed from experimental drying curves of ripe mango slices (Mangifera indica ...

متن کاملEvaluation of Drying Methods With Respect to Drying Kinetics and Mineral Contents of Dill and Parsley
Dill (Anethum graveolens L.) and parsley (Petroselinum crispum Mill.) were dried by using sun and oven (50oC) drying methods. Oven drying decreased the drying time approximately 50% when compared to the sun drying method for both herbs. K, Ca, P, Mg and Na were the most abundant elements in dill and parsley samples. Oven-dried samples had higher mineral values than that of the su...
